Visiting Bar, Montenegro

As we continue or Youtube series from our recent European vacation, we visited Bar, Montenegro.

When we booked this cruise, the stop was supposed to be Kotor, Montenegro. I was excited to visit and found an amazing tour where we would swim in the Blue Caves of Kotor and enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful crystal clear water.

However, we were informed a few weeks before the cruise that Kotor had been replaced with Bar. It seems there are docking issues with a ship the size of Sun Princess in the gulf of Kotor which caused the ship to be change ports.

I was definitely disappointed with this last minute change BUT we still made the best of it and honestly enjoyed our time in Bar. This little town is very industrial and not touristy which I didn’t really mind. To us, it felt much more authenic. Ole Towne and Starry Bar are definitely worth exploring if you ever cruise in this area!
