Is Club Level at Disney Worth It? What You Actually Get at Wilderness Lodge
If you’ve ever looked at Club Level at Disney and thought… that’s a big price jump… is it actually worth it? — you’re not alone. I get this question all the time.
I recently stayed Club Level at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and while I’ve got a full video tour, I wanted to break it down here in a way that really helps you decide if it makes sense for your trip.
What Is Club Level at Disney?
Think of Club Level as an upgraded resort experience, not just a nicer room in an superior location.
You’re getting access to a private lounge, food and drinks throughout the day, and a more personalized, elevated stay overall.
It’s not over-the-top luxury… but it does feel like a step up in comfort and convenience.
Where You’ll Find Club Level
Club Level is mostly offered at Disney’s Deluxe Resorts, including:
Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney's Contemporary Resort
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Disney's Beach Club Resort
Disney's Yacht Club Resort
And one Moderate Resort:
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (the only moderate with Club Level)
What It Feels Like When You Arrive
This is one of those things that doesn’t always come across in video.
You’re typically greeted and escorted up to the lounge to check in. It feels quieter, more personal, and a little more relaxed right from the start.
At Wilderness Lodge (and also at Animal Kingdom Lodge when I stayed there), there were little touches like a welcome with our name and even a themed chocolate waiting in the room. It’s simple—but it makes an impression.

Let’s Talk About the Food (Because This Matters)
This is where Club Level really starts to make sense for some people—and not for others.
Here’s how the day typically flows:
Morning: light breakfast
Midday: snacks and drinks
Afternoon: small bites and sweets
Evening: heavier hors d’oeuvres
Late evening: desserts and cordials
You also have coffee, drinks, and refreshments available most of the day.
Typical lounge hours at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
In the mornings, it’s more of a continental breakfast—easy, quick, and enough to get your day started without needing a full dining reservation.
During the day, it shifts to lighter snacks—fruit, small bites, things you can grab as you come and go.
In the evenings, it becomes more substantial—and this is where a lot of people start to treat it as dinner.
Insider tip:
If you happen to be at Wilderness Lodge Club Level on a night they serve the brisket… you win.
This is the same brisket served at Whispering Canyon Cafe—and if you know, you know. It’s one of the most popular dishes in the resort.
Except here… you can go back for more, and it’s already included.
Let’s just say I definitely had more than I planned to.
And then later in the evening, they bring out desserts and cordials—so if you’re back at the resort, it’s a really nice way to wind down the night.
So… Is It Worth It?
Here’s where I always bring it back to how you travel.
I don’t think Club Level is something most people need for an entire week, especially for larger families where the cost adds up quickly.
But I do think it can be a great fit in the right situations.
When I Recommend It to My Clients
I love suggesting Club Level when:
It’s an adults-only trip
You’re going for a shorter stay (2–3 nights)
You plan to actually enjoy the resort
You don’t want to worry about as many dining reservations
Because realistically, you can replace meals here if you want to. Between the food, snacks, and drinks, it takes a lot of pressure off planning.
One of My Favorite Ways to Use It
One of my favorite ways to recommend Club Level is as part of a split stay.
Do most of your trip in a standard room (at the same or even better a different resort) and then add one night at Club Level at the beginning or end.
It gives you that elevated experience without committing to the cost for your entire trip.
When It Doesn’t Make Sense
If you’re planning to be in the parks from rope drop to close every day, this is where I usually say… skip it.
A lot of the value is in the timing, especially those evening offerings around 8–9 pm. If you’re not there to enjoy it, you’re paying for something you won’t really use.
Why I Personally Love It at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
I’ve done Club Level at both Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge is still my favorite.
It’s the combination of everything:
The peaceful setting
The beautiful lodge atmosphere
S’mores by the firepit at night
Boat access to Magic Kingdom and Disney's Contemporary Resort
The Electrical Water Pageant in the evening
When you layer Club Level on top of all of that, it just creates a really relaxed, elevated Disney stay.
Final Thoughts
Club Level isn’t about getting more, it’s about experiencing your trip differently.
For the right trip, it’s absolutely worth it.
Need Help Deciding?
This is exactly what I help my clients figure out every day—what’s worth it, what’s not, and how to build a trip that actually fits how you travel.
