For my 10-Day Countdown to Christmas, I’m sharing my top 10 travel destinations — places I love planning, trips my clients rave about, and experiences that show I plan far more than just cruises.

That said, my personal favorite is Christmas market season, when cozy towns, twinkling lights, charming markets, and warm glühwein create a truly magical atmosphere.

The best balance of good weather, beautiful scenery, and fewer crowds. Summer is warm and lively but busier; winter is cozy but darker and wetter.
